CNAME, alias & godaddy.com

In my attempt to do this thing just the right way, I purchased ottmama.com as my domain name for my great new blog.   Wasn’t quite sure how it was all gonna work, but I’m smart and I can read, therefore I thought I could do.

Wow, did I do!

After registering my very own URL ottmama.com through godaddy.com, I quickly learned I needed to map my domain.  Without mapping my domain, godaddy.com was kind enough to put out a note that this URL is parked at godaddy and gave one plenty of choice porn site links.   Now, I’m no prude.  However, in my attempt to do this thing just the right way, providing porn links was not near the top of my list.  Okay I’ll be honest, wasn’t on my list at all!   My husband however seemed to think it could be a way to make some quick cash.  (Still thinking this through…)

So my hope is that if you are reading this, you didn’t have to see links for “Looking for a Booty Call” on your way here!
