Making appetizers isn’t exactly cooking so I’m going to admit it’s something I can do, and on most days I do it well. Unfortunately, I don’t do it most days as it’s frowned upon to keep a family fed on appetizers.
The following is one of my go-to appetizer and I’ll warn you, it’s a little bit of heaven!
Aunt Pat’s Bean Dip
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz sour cream
16 oz refried beans
1 pkg taco mix
8 oz shredded cheese (I use a little more than 8 oz)
Blend all ingredients together. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.
(ssshhh, don’t tell anyone but I think I just figured out what we are having for dinner tonight!!)
